A World Bank Representative Mr. David Shand, Public Financial Management (PFM) Consultant called on Mr. Md. Abul Kashem, Controller General of Accounts (CGA) on 22nd September, 2015 at CGA office. They exchanged views on different issues related to iBAS++, CGA service delivery and accounting system and recent development initiatives undertaken by CGA office. Controller General of Accounts stressed on initiating projects to the full control of CGA specially for the capacity building of IT support with a view to making the CGA office paperless in near future.
A group of World Bank Representatives headed by Ms. Tracey Marie Lane, Sr. Economist, Governance, called on Mr. Md. Abul Kashem, Controller General of Accounts (CGA) on 8 September, 2015 at CGA office. They exchanged views on different issues related to Open Government Data (OGD), CGA service delivery and accounting system and recent development initiatives undertaken by CGA office. CGA highlighted our innovative ideas, Digital Bill Display System (DBDS), Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) monitoring system & other programs and activities for service delivery improvement. He also exchanged ideas on planning of electronic bill submission by the individuals. CGA stressed on initiating projects under the control of CGA for the advancement and further development in service delivery and accounting system.
A group of International Monetary Fund (IMF) representatives including Mr. Eliko Pedastsaar, Technical Assistance Advisor, Mr. Sandeep Saxena, Senior Economist and Mr. Peter Gerald Muir, Consultant called on Mr. Md. Abul Kashem, Controller General of Accounts (CGA) on 11 August, 2015 at CGA office. They exchanged views on different issues related to CGA service delivery and accounting system and recent development initiatives undertaken by CGA office. CGA highlighted our innovative ideas, Digital Bill Display System (DBDS), Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) monitoring system & other programs and activities for service delivery improvement. He also exchanged ideas on planning of electronic bill submission by the individuals. Both the sides stressed on strengthening the CGA in decision making for further development in service delivery and accounting system . He made a request for further IMF visit and assistance.

He also exchanges ideas on ISSAI implementation issues & concerns and development initiatives undertaken by CGA office. He makes a request for further IDI assistance in better audit management.

Dr. Geoffrey Nicoll and Dr. Shamim Alam, Researchers of the University of Canberra, Australia called on the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) on 4th June, 2015. They discussed on the framework for developing a private pension fund in Bangladesh.
